I’m Alex and have been operating as Alex Does Coffee since 2016. Starting out in Twos Company Studios on Old Market, Bristol. Putting a machine onto a couple of self build counter units that we could roll and move is what began it all! Having an educational background in art, it was a natural pairing to base my business in a space filled with a mix of like minded people. Serving Bristols own Extract coffee from day 1 - feeling I was onto a good thing! 3 years on at Twos Company, then onwards to Dockyard Studios on Bristols Harbourside for another 2. A beautiful spot within yet another space full of top people, all doing their own thing. 2020 - Covid hits and I have to close up shop! Worried I would never make it back out there. Luckily, a year later, a space became available at the Paintworks site - giving me a home to get going in again. Here I supported all sorts of events and loved it! This is where my plan of becoming fully mobile so I could come to you and focus on specific days came to light.

Now to design and build! After a ton of researching and looking at all sorts of vehicles, I settled on a Suzuki Carry pick up. Allowing the freedom to design a totally custom back box to house the coffee machine. Ply lined surfaces inside and neatly installed services make this a dream coffee van, ready to serve the crowds! No mobile coffee vehicle is complete without the best machine for the job, a Fracino Duel Fuel contempo. Meaning I can run on electric hook up or gas with battery and solar for all your off grid needs.
